Second Act Women

In the fall of 2021, Second Act Women was selected out of over 14,000 applicants as one of 131 worldwide organizations to be included in Facebook’s 2021 Community Accelerator Program (CAP). The program provided funding, coaching and access to new products to help with community building.

'There is a lot of goodness happening here to help the world really, because each one of these communities have something different they're doing for social good,' said Barbara Brooks, founder of SAW. 'It [The CAP grant] helped us create a bigger approach to what we want to do in fighting general ageism on a global scale; it's helping us take our company to the next level.'
-- modified from Rocky Mountain PBS article "A Colorado small business challenges ageism and the status quo" by Jennifer Castor, Published on October 28, 2021.

Because Second Act Women practices what they preach, our designer and Second Act Women member, Gili, was brought on as part of an all-women-over-40 marketing squad to assist in unleveling SAW's existing brand presence in collaboration with Erica Younkin of Brand Crafted Marketing. Building on an established logo program and color palette, she created a suite of digital assets to assist SAW in a new membership campaign across multiple platforms.
